Emmvee Announces New Solar Cell & Module Factory in Bengaluru

Solar PV player Emmvee Group has announced its new solar cell and module manufacturing facility at Dabaspet, Bengaluru, Karnataka. It held that the facility will be the most advanced and fully automated production line with built-up area of about 500,000 square feet.

The project is part of the Emmvee expansion plan of a total of 1.50 GW solar cell line and 3.00 GW solar module manufacturing capacity. The phase 2 of capacity expansion of 1.50 GW solar cell line and 1.75 GW of module manufacturing facility construction has been kickstarted officially.

Emmvee held that the module and cell facilities are scheduled to commence operation from June 2023 and early 2024 respectively.

With the start of construction of our new facility, the firm will continue to fulfil the increasing demand and support its customers in business continuity by timely execution of supply.”

The new plant is strategically constructed right next to the current 750MW module manufacturing facility of Emmvee to ensure operational excellence and control.

With two manufacturing facilities for PV modules & one for solar water heaters, its current module production capacity totals up to 1.25 GW.
