EIL Issues IFB For Solar System at Navi Mumbai Office

EIL has invited bids for the development of a solar PV system for its new office in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.

Public Sector Undertaking Engineers India Limited (EIL) has invited bids from eligible parties for the development of a solar photovoltaic system for the PSU’s new office in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. EIL is headquartered in New Delhi. 

The brief scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, detail engineering, manufacture, procurement of material and bought out components, assembly at shop, inspection, testing at manufacturer’s works, packing, delivery, fabrication, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, performance guarantee test run and maintenance of the solar PV system. Including civil & structural works on lump sum turnkey (LSTK) basis as per the detailed scope of supply and works specified in the bidding document.

The developers will also be responsible for providing comprehensive operation and maintenance of the system for a period of 5 years from the date of expiry of the warranty period.

The last date for bid submission is July 3, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on July 4, 2019. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for June 21, 2019, to address the concerns raised by prospective bidders. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 21 thousand along with their bids as a bid security amount.

To be eligible, the bidder should have designed, engineered, supplied, tested and commissioned one or more sets of solar PV based power plant system with total capacity of minimum 20 kW on single order basis with the offered technology during last ten years and must have completed a period of minimum one year after commissioning reckoned from the bid due date.

Financially, the annual turnover of the bidder should not be less than Rs 10 lakh, with a positive net worth and a minimum working capital of Rs 1 lakh.

The time schedule for completion of works shall be seventy-five days from the date of issue of Letter of Acceptance (LOA).
