Ecoplexus has announced a 25 MW DC portfolio of projects across California. The projects include carport and ground-mounted installations, connecting behind-the-meter at a number of state facilities.
The project will provide clean energy to power the facilities, offset greenhouse gas emissions and reduce energy costs.
Ecoplexus‘s portfolio will provide approximately 30.5 gigawatt-hours of clean electricity annually which is enough to power almost 2,000 households, or offset roughly 21,000 metric tons of Carbon Dioxide.
The first 7 MW of the project will be completed in August 2016, while the remaining is expected to be complete in the spring of 2017. The onsite facilities include state hospitals, military bases and a variety of other facilities.
"We are pleased to play a role in satisfying California's growing demand for clean energy," said John Gorman, CEO of Ecoplexus. "California has set a great example for other states to follow, and we are eager to support its efforts going forward."
