Magenta Power has announced that it has strengthened its leadership Team with the appointment of Sanjeev Tripathi as the Head of Technology at the company.

Leading green energy solutions provider and e-mobility focusses firm – Magenta Power has announced that it has strengthened its leadership Team with the appointment of Sanjeev Tripathi as the Head of Technology at the company.

Technology has been a central part of Magenta’s product and solutions development strategy for achieving the growth targets the company has set for itself. Tripathi brings with him over 16 years of leadership experience in software design, architecture and development with expertise in E-Mobility solutions.

Commenting on the appointment, Maxson Lewis – Director, Magenta Power & ChargeGrid said, “Sanjeev has a strong track record of leading teams and technology especially in the EV charging and energy management space. His vision for the future of Power and E-Mobility supports our deep technology plans across the three areas of growth in our company – Power, EV Charging and Mobility. He will be an integral part of the Magenta Executive team and will play a very instrumental role in taking Magenta to the next level.”

He has led complete product development programs in the area of Electric Vehicle charging & Energy Management for international clients. His post-graduate studies in Blockchain, Science and Mathematics puts him in the driver’s seat for developing new technologies at Magenta.

Tripathi said, “I am excited to be a part of the budding Magenta Group. As a hands-on technologist, I see global opportunity in this new space of Electric mobility tightly integrated into the power distribution systems and this requires a strong technology backbone. In March, the HPCL-backed startup had unveiled its first Street Lamp Integrated electric vehicle (EV) Charger called ‘ChargeGrid Flare’. And announced that it will be rolling out the newly launched Street Lamp Integrated EV Charger into the market by April.

This new range of EV charging points, which is the first of its kind in the country, can be incorporated within energy-efficient street lamp columns that will encourage EV adoption for flexible and low cost charging solutions.
