Magenta Power HAL Project

HAL is an Indian state-owned aerospace and defence company headquartered in Bengaluru.

Commenting on the project win, Maxson Lewis, Managing Director, Magenta Power, said that “it is a proud moment for us to bag this project especially when the country needs an economic revival. We are glad to extend our support towards green energy solutions, and thankful to the team HAL who made this possible by working remotely, and process back end even in the most difficult lockdown period.”

Earlier, the company has successfully completed several marquee projects with clients like HPCL, Mahad CETP (Common Effluent Treatment Plant) along with residential and commercial complexes.

Magenta Group of companies is a fast-growing firm with its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure business (ChargeGrid) along with the solar business.

In the month of March this year, it had unveiled its first street lamp integrated EV charger called ‘ChargeGrid Flare’, and was planning to roll-out this newly launched Street Lamp Integrated EV Charger into the market soon.

This new range of EV charging points, which is the first of its kind in the country, can be incorporated within energy-efficient street lamp columns that will encourage EV adoption for flexible and low cost charging solutions.

The company said that it had specially designed ChargeGrid Flare in partnership with HPCL to offer energy-efficient street light combined with an EV charging point.

Meanwhile, Magenta Group of companies includes Magenta Power (Solar), Magenta EV Solutions and Magenta Informatics, operating in all major cities in India, with 6 regional offices and headquarters in Navi Mumbai. It is also affiliated with the Asia-Pacific Energy Group of USA.
