Daman District Invites Bids for Enhancement of 7.47 MW Diu Solar Plant

UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu has solicited bids for the expansion of 2.56 MWp capacity at the 6 MW Solar PV Plant in Diu and 4.91 MW capacity at the 3 MWp Solar PV Plant in Diu.

The last date for submitting the online bid is January 17, 2023, at 12:00 pm and the bid will be opened on the same day at 03:00 pm.

The scope of work of this Daman 7.47 MW solar tender includes design and engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning. There is also a warranty obligation, as well as comprehensive operation and maintenance.

The estimated total cost of the tender is Rs. 34 crores. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 20,000/- as a tender document fee. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 50 Lakh as an earnest money deposit/bank guarantee.

The bidders must have experience working on similar projects with ground-mounted solar power plants that are connected to the grid. Construction of transmission lines, switchyard/substation bays, solar power plant design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning, operation, and maintenance are all required components of the projects.

To procure this Daman solar project tender, the minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, and the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process at least shall be calculated as follows:

4.0 Cr. X .... MW (Capacity in MW bidder is bidding) X 0.7 = .......Cr. 

The net worth of the bidder should also be positive for the last Financial Year. Net Worth of the bidder shall be calculated as follows: 

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses).
