Healthcare and diagnostic firm, Credent, also known as C3 Logistics, is set to launch India’s largest electric vehicle (EV) delivery fleet. The firm will be converting its entire fleet of 2500 to EVs. The initiative comes with a view to support the sustainability efforts of the healthcare industry and curb carbon emissions.

Credent will also be establishing a robust charging infrastructure and making investments towards this. These will come up in the areas where the firm operates. Credent is forging partnerships with providers of charging stations, which will facilitate it to set up a strategically located network of charging points. This will pave the path for uninterrupted operations, ensuring that the fleet remains charged at all times.

Additionally, in order to optimise its operations, the healthcare firm will be executing smart fleet management systems. These systems will allow Credent to keep track the locations of the electric vehicle fleet as well as their performance. The integration of advanced telematic will enable data collection on driving patterns.

Credent has also set sights on augmenting renewable energy share in its energy mix. The firm is in talks with several renewable energy firms for purchase of sources of clean energy. This will further enable Credent to curb its carbon emissions.
