Bollywood Actor Richa Chadha to help set up solar power project for school kids in Bulandshahar

Bollywood Actor Richa Chadha has joined hand with her aunt who runs a charitable school in Bulandshahr, a small town in Uttar Pradesh to set up solar power project.

Richa’s aunt has been running the school for the past five years; she left her Delhi life to provide free education to kids coming from low-income backgrounds.

Speaking to HT Chadha said “Solar energy is an under-utilised clean source of energy in our country. I am glad I’m able to do something, even at this small level in order to ensure that the kids at this school can have electricity and also understand the power of green energy.”

The installation of solar power plant in the school is expected improve education of the children, which often suffers due to power crisis in the state.
