BikeWo Green Tech Partners with Flipkart For Green Logistics
BikeWo Green Tech Limited, an Indian green mobility start-up, has announced a partnership with Instakart Services Private Limited, the logistics arm of the Flipkart Group, to support last-mile delivery operations using electric and sustainable vehicles.
The collaboration aims to bolster Flipkart’s supply chain decarbonisation efforts through the deployment of over 1,300 dedicated delivery partners and a fleet of tech-enabled green vehicles across its delivery hubs. BikeWo has commenced operations across seven states under a structured framework that includes trained personnel, AI-integrated route planning, and strict compliance with service-level protocols.
AI-driven route optimisation
BikeWo’s technology platform will be central to the operations, offering AI-driven route optimisation, hub-wise capacity planning, and real-time performance tracking. The system is designed to improve efficiency, scalability, and reduce the carbon footprint of conventional logistics.
“This is more than a partnership—it’s a shared commitment to climate-conscious growth,” said Manideep Katepalli, Managing Director of BikeWo Green Tech Limited. “As e-commerce volumes surge, it’s essential for logistics to match that growth sustainably. We are proud to contribute to Flipkart’s green journey.”
Flipkart's EV Adoption Plan
Flipkart has pledged to convert a significant portion of its last-mile delivery fleet to electric vehicles by 2030. The alliance with BikeWo aligns with this vision, combining advanced logistics infrastructure with large-scale sustainability initiatives.
Founded in December 2016, BikeWo Green Tech Limited began operations in the used four-wheeler segment before pivoting to electric mobility in 2022. It now operates as a dealership-based electric two-wheeler retailer, with a growing presence across Indian cities through its partner network.
