Enfinity Global Closes $195 Million Long-Term Financing for 70MW Solar Power Plant In Japan

The recently completed solar power plant in Aomori Prefecture in northern Japan is expected to generate more than 75 GWh of clean energy annually, which is enough to meet 11% of the energy needs of the city of Aomori, i.e. about 15,600 households.This newly commissioned solar power plant is part of Enfinity Global’s 250 MW photovoltaic portfolio in Japan, where the company is an industry leader.

JA Solar In Module Distribution Agreement for 200 MW in Mexico

JA Solar, a global leader in the photovoltaic (PV) industry, has entered into a 200MW PV module distribution agreement with Exel Solar, a respected distributor in Mexico. This strengthened partnership, formalized in April 2024, seeks to enhance collaboration between the two companies and support Mexico’s goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030.

Gstar Announces Groundbreaking of Silicon Wafer Factory In Indonesia

The core products of the factory focus on monocrystalline silicon rods and large-sized silicon wafers of 182mm and 210mm,with broad prospects in the solar photovoltaic field. It is one of the earliest silicon manufacturing plants in Indonesia.

energyRe Secures $155 Million in Project Financing + $85 Million Tax Equity Commitment for 108 MW Solar and 198MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)

The financing is for its Lone Star Solar project and 198MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), one of the largest battery systems in South Carolina. Lone Star Solar is under construction and is expected to be operational by Fall 2024.

European Finance Group Inks 20-Year Deal With JP Energie For French Solar Plant

Europe-based financial services group Societe Generale group announces the signing of a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement with the French producer JP Energie Environnement, enabling the creation of a photovoltaic power plant in France. This initiative is part of the ambition shared by both companies to accelerate the development of new green energy production capacities in support of the energy transition. This long-term agreement aims at the creation of a photovoltaic power plant located in the municipality of Arpheuilles in the Centre-Val de Loire region of central France
