AP: InSolare Expands Into Battery Storage With SECI’s 600 MW/1,200 MWh Project
InSolare Energy was recently awarded by the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI)'s 600 MW/1,200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) contract. This project was awarded to the winning bidder after one months from issuing the tender in September this year.
In a press release, the company, explained said, "This win strengthens the company's presence across the clean energy value chain — from solar EPC to advanced energy storage, module manufacturing, green hydrogen, and green ammonia."
The latest project warded by SECI is located in Kolimigundla, Nandiyal District, Andhra Pradesh, and connected to the Kurnool-3 substation of the ISTS network. The project includes design, engineering, civil works, installation, testing, commissioning, and five years of comprehensive O&M.
Previously, Bengaluru-based company Pace Digitek under a seperate tender won a battery energy storage system (BESS) project from SECI for Andhra Pradesh (AP). In the earstwhile tender, SECI awarded the tender worth ₹1,159.31 crore (including GST) to Pace Digitek with 10 years of service and maintenance for the DC package.
