Amp Energy India appoints Ritesh Singhi

Amp Energy India has hired Ritesh Singhi as Senior Director - Procurement and Supply Chain Management (SCM). The company has said that its strengthening its management capabilities to capitalize on future growth opportunities as it continues to progress on an accelerated growth path. Singhi comes with more than 25 years of extensive experience in Project & Operation Management, Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Management.

Singhi is an alumnus of Government Engineering, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, and has previously been associated with managing over a GW of renewable energy projects as part of Mahindra Susten and CleanMax Solar.

“Mr. Singhi joins us as we are strengthening our leadership team in India in line with our business strategy and his experience in sourcing, manufacturing and supply management etc. would ensure Amp Energy India’s offerings always remain competitive. I am happy to have him on board to further build on the strong momentum of our continuous sustainable growth path in the renewable energy sector,” said Pinaki Bhattacharyya, Amp Energy India–Co-Founder, MD &CEO.

Singhi's apppointment follows the Kapil Kasotia – an alumnus of IIM Calcutta being moved as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for company’s wind, hybrid and storage businesses.

Amp Energy India is an India based IPP that has a present portfolio of about 1.5GW.

The company already has a financial commitment of $100 million from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners that will help the company to add some 1.7GW more to its kitty. Amp Energy India is also associated with Toronto headquartered Amp Energy.
