Amit Kumar Joins As The New CEO (EV Leasing) Of Gensol Engineering

Gensol Engineering Limited, the EPC arm of the Gensol Group, recently appointed Amit Kumar as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its Electric Vehicle (EV) Leasing Business. This arm of the company deals with leasing solutions to accelerate the faster adoption of electric vehicles in India both at the business and individual levels. 

Kumar had earlier served as the Managing Director (MD) of LeasePlan India, where he played a key role in driving the company’s growth and achieving good performance for the business. “Amit’s leadership skills and forward-thinking approach, coupled with the talented and experienced team of leasing industry professionals, will be instrumental in propelling the EV leasing business towards conspicuous growth,” Gensol said in a media statement.

Gensol has leased over 4000 EVs to leading players in the last three years and plans to lease 10,000 EV cars in FY24. As a result, the company is likely to greatly benefit from the synergies between the manufacturing & leasing business.
