Noida-based Alpex Solar will be setting up its second solar panel manufacturing facility in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The company said it has got the approval from Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA)  to secure 7 acres of land in Mathura for which the payment will be done soon.

According to Alpex Solar, the firm secured the land through e-auction conducted by UPSIDA.

“Land in Mathura is a significant development for the company’s expansion plans. The location provides easy access to logistics and vendor support,” said Ashwani Sehgal, the managing director of Alpex Solar on securing Mathura land for the factory.

Last month, Alpex Solar Limited announced that it had secured an order from the Department of New & Renewable Energy Haryana (HAREDA), under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM Scheme), for the provision of 1434 solar water pumping systems.
