Greater Noida-based solar module maker Alpex Solar Ltd has invested up to ₹10 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary Alpex Green Energies Private Limited (AGEPL) to support business expansion, working capital needs and operational strengthening.
Alpex Solar’s board said in a regulatory filing about approving the infusion of additional equity capital as part of its long-term strategic growth plans. AGEPL provides engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions across green energy applications, including solar, wind, hydrogen and other renewable energy segments.
Alpex Solar Adds 1.2GW Unit, Doubles Manufacturing to 2.4 GW
Separately, Alpex Solar said it has consolidated its aluminium frame manufacturing operations under a single facility at Unit VII in Kosi Kotwan Extension, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, to streamline operations and improve efficiency and resource utilisation.
The aluminium frame facility is currently operating at an installed capacity of 6,000 metric tonnes per annum, with the remaining capacity expected to be commissioned by the end of FY27, taking the total capacity to 12,000 metric tonnes per annum, the company said.
The company has also commenced commercial production of solar modules at its Unit V facility in Greater Noida, adding 1.2 GW of manufacturing capacity. This expansion has doubled Alpex Solar’s total installed module manufacturing capacity to 2.4 GW.
