Israel based robotic cleaning solutions firm Airtouch Solar continues to make inroads into the Indian market. In it’s latest deal announcement, the firm has announced the closure of its fifth and largest agreement with ReNew  worth $8.5 million for supply of Airtouch’s advanced robot model –  Airtouch AT 4.0 for ReNews solar projects in India.

Airtouch Solar, which develops robotic solutions for the solar energy market, continues to deepen its operations in India.

ReNew Energy, a NASDAQ traded company, is considered one of the largest solar energy developers in India. As part of the agreements, the consideration for Airtouch will be approx. US $2.5 million relative to the sale and installation agreement, while the operation and maintenance services agreement, for 25 years, is expected to generate additional revenue for the company in a total cumulative amount of US $5.9 million. The company expects the installation of the robots to be completed by the end of the first half of year 2024.

Earlier this month, Airtouch announced that it had signed a US $3.2 million agreements with Amplus Solar, one of Asia’s leading energy companies; installation of the Airtouch cleaning robots in Amplus Solar’s fields in India is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. As part of those agreements, Airtouch will receive approx. be US $0.9 million in respect of the sale and installation agreement, while the operation and maintenance services agreement, for 25 years, is expected to generate additional revenue for the company in a total cumulative amount of US $2.3 million.

As of the end of 2022, Airtouch has entered into agreements with customers to install its products on facilities with a total capacity of over 4.4 GW, of which over 2.8 GW have already been installed.
