The Airports Authority of India has invited bids for the supply of an 8 MW capacity solar power project in Hubballi Airport to feed all airports in Karnataka.

The last date for submitting the bid for this 8 MW solar power project is January 04, 2022, till 06:00 pm & bids will be opened on January 06, 2022, at 10:00 am. The project completion period is 120 Days including 30 days considered for rain.

This 8 MW solar tender includes the scope of the work of setting up the solar plant of awarded capacity, including design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warranty obligation with comprehensive operation and maintenance. 

The estimated cost of the whole project is Rs. 41.15 lakhs (Excluding GST). Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 1180 (excluding 18% GST) as a tender processing fee. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 82,300/- as an earnest money deposit/bank guarantee.

To procure this tender, the bidders must have experience in the same kind of work with ground-mounted solar power projects connected to the grid within the previous five years. The projects must comprise transmission line construction, switchyard/substation bay, design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning, operation, and maintenance of grid-connected solar power plants. 

Average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years, ending 31st March of the previous financial year, should be Rs. 12.35 Lakhs from the last three financial years ending on 31.03.2021 based on audited annual accounts. The net worth of the bidder during the last Financial Year shall be Rs. 6.17 Lakhs, wherein the net worth shall be calculated as follows:

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses)
