With the initiation of a 15 MW Solar Power Project (Auto-Tracker Modules) under the Captive Power Producer (CPP) segment, the firm will move further towards powering operations using renewable energy.  The newest order has been entrusted to M/s. KPIG Energia Private Limited, a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of M/s. KPI Green Energy Limited.

Aether Industries previous 16MW Solar Power Project (Fixed Modules) under the Captive Power Producer (CPP) segment, was commissioned in July 2022.

The solar power farm will be in Gujarat's Bharuch District and spread across 60 acres.  The phase-wise commissioning of the solar power plant is set to begin as early as the next financial year starting April.

To ensure maximum efficiency, Aether Industries has opted for cutting-edge Auto-Tracker Modules to achieve optimum orthogonal angles to harness the sunlight.

Rohan Desai, Promoter and Whole Time Director, Aether Industries, said, “As an enterprise, we are very cognizant of the elements that sustain life. This is why we are also part of UN Global Compact Network India to practice and promote sustainable manufacturing. Therefore, our decision to commission a fairly large solar park is in-line with that guiding philosophy. We will continue to explore ways to make Aether Industries a benchmark in sustainability within the chemicals industry in the country.”

In addition to the Solar Power Plant, Aether Industries leads the industry in adopting cleaner chemistries and cutting-edge reaction technologies to reduce harmful impact on the environment.

The Triple Stage Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE) technology and the 100 KLPD In-House Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Plant allow for responsible liquid waste management. Resource conservation is also aided by the Mechanical Vapour Recompression (MVR) Plant and Agitated Thin Film Evaporator (ATFE) technology, which prioritize energy efficiency and accurate separation operations. With its cutting-edge Soil Biotechnology (SBT) Platform with ozonation and Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant, Aether Industries also promotes sustainable soil management while advocating water conservation.
