Adani Green Units Ink 60 MW Hybrid Power Deals to Supply Across Two States
Adani Green Energy’s step-down subsidiaries, Adani Solar Energy Jodhpur Six and Adani Renewable Energy Forty One, entered into Power Consumption Agreements and Tripartite Agreements to supply hybrid power from projects located across two states.
Under the tripartite agreements, Adani said it would supply 60 MW of solar-wind hybrid power to a commercial and industrial (C&I) customer. The hybrid power will be sourced from a 50 MW solar power plant in Baap, Rajasthan, and a 52 MW wind power plant in Khavda, Gujarat.
Rise in Hybrid Projects
Spread across 12 renewable energy–rich states, Adani Green’s portfolio includes solar and wind sites comprising 23 GW in Gujarat and over 10 GW in Rajasthan, earmarked for future capacity addition.
The company has recently witnessed a strong rise in hybrid projects. As of September 2025, hybrid projects made up 13% of Adani Green’s total renewable energy capacity of 16.7 GW, while wind accounted for 18% and solar dominated with 70%.
According to the company’s executive summary, its hybrid portfolio achieved a capacity utilization factor (CUF) of 39.1%, supported by 98.2% plant availability. Building on this growing hybrid share, Adani Green has operationalized 805 MW of hybrid power plants, including new greenfield projects in Khavda, Gujarat.
As per the company’s earnings presentation, Adani Green added 2,945 MW of hybrid capacity, contributing to its total installed capacity of 16,680 MW. Moreover, its hybrid portfolio has about 39.1% CUF, which is backed by 98.2% plant availability
