5th IPPAI Power Awards 2016 to be held in Goa on September 24

Independent Power Producers Association of India (IPPAI) is hosting its flagship event – the Regulators and Policymakers Retreat (RPR) on September 24^th in Goa this year.

RPR is an annual awards event though which IPPAI recognizes individuals, organizations, Indian States, State Electricity Regulatory Commissions (SERCs) or DISCOMs that have administered a significant contribution towards the development of power sector in India.

IPPAI, along with its Knowledge Partner Deloitte will do the preliminary screening of the nominations received and submit the result to the jury members who will short-list eligible entities and finalize the winners.

Along with the awards ceremony, the event has remained a curious platform for discussions on various issues in the energy and power sectors, relevant policies, governance topics, existing and future challenges and strategies – attended by thinkers and visionaries in energy and infrastructure sectors from across the country.
