KPI Green Energy Joins Hands with Uttarakhand Govt for 500 MW Solar Park

Under the 2018 Gujarat Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Policy, KPI Green Energy- a leading solar energy company in Surat, is installing green hybrid capabilities at Bhavnagar totaling 16.10 MW. According to the firm, this 16.10 MW hybrid power project will include solar energy project (10 MWdc) and wind energy project (6.10 MW ) capacity that will be created at Bhungar location in Mahuva at Bhavnagar, Gujarat.

The State Bank of India has already provided the necessary financial closure for Rs 132 crore. Additionally, the company has made long-term PPA arrangements in advance with several corporate partners for the sale of electricity produced by the hybrid power project once it is operational.

The project will be put into operation in March 2023.  

KPI Green Energy (formerly K.P.I. Global Infrastructure) produces and distributes solar power under the Solarism brand name. As an independent power producer and captive power producer, it develops, constructs owns, manages, and maintains solar power plants. In the quarter that ended in June 2022, the company's combined net profit increased to Rs 22.23 crore from Rs 7.99 crore in the quarter that ended in June 2021. Sales increased significantly from Rs 35.42 crore in Q1 FY22 to Rs 122.33 crore in Q1 FY23.

In Bharuch, Gujarat, KPI Green Energy recently installed 10MWp solar projects. This is a CPP project that KPI Green Energy developed for a CPP customer by entering into a turnkey agreement that allowed the CPP customer to not only use a common pool of grid-connected land to establish and generate solar power but to also provide ready-made common infrastructures to evacuate power using our transmission line from the solar plant to the closest Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO).
