Servotech Power Systems Ltd., a manufacturer of EV chargers in India, and EMCOR Power Solutions, a firm that provides EV charging CPO solutions and advanced battery, have joined hands by way of an MoU. Under the terms of the agreement, EMCOR Power Solutions will provide Servotech Power Systems with 1000 CPO (Charge Point Operator) sites in India. These sites will serve as the foundation for the installation of EV chargers, as outlined by the agreement.

EMCOR Power Solutions is the Indian business start-up of EMCOR International, a Kuwait-based general trading company with a strong focus on the oil and gas sector, along with various ministerial departments.

Servotech Power Systems will assume the role of manufacturer and installer of 30kW and 60kW and higher capacity DC fast EV chargers, strategically distributed across India. The project will be executed in phases, with the initial phase encompassing the installation of 100 DC fast EV chargers in South India, followed by further expansion across pan India.

Servotech Power Systems has announced setting up a wholly-owned subsidiary, which will engage in the manufacture of EV charging components, manufacturing and trading of batteries. It recently also signed an MoU with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to set up an EV charger manufacturing plant in the state along with backward integration. The plant will be set up under the Uttar Pradesh Electric Vehicle Manufacturing and Mobility Policy 2022.
