Dimensions parts or elements for a technical solution as to the requirements and related to a specific technical field.

• Checks the possibilities for technical realization regarding the requirements.
• Drafts the technical realization of the requirements within the technical discipline.
• Dimensions elements, components or software by calculation or by their specification according to the requirements and, if necessary, documents the required technical proofs.
• Acts as a specialized know-how owner for a technical discipline.
• May cooperate with specialists of other disciplines or faculties, may coordinate technical interfaces.

Qualifications:

• ME/M.Tech in Civil & Structural Engineering

Experience:

• 15 Years of experience relevant experience

Location:

• Chennai

Roles and Responsibilities on Detailed Engineering:

• Planning of Engineering activities, preparation of deliverable schedule in line with project schedule and ensuring timely submission of deliverables for site execution.
• Preparation of specification and SOP for preliminary site activities and final execution of works.
• Detailed review and understanding of the Client Technical specifications.
• Team Leader handling Engineers and Draftsman to meet the quality and scheduled deliverables.
• Designing, Verification, Validation and Optimization of MMS structures, RCC and steel structures, grading, storm water drain, module cleaning and other miscellaneous requirements for the proper functioning of the plant.
• Cost optimization through Innovation and development of new technology. Providing inputs to Procurement for Pre-ordering of materials based on project requirement.
• Vendor drawing reviews. Interdepartmental co-ordination and CFT discussions.
• Resolution of site related issues Handling job Independently Customer discussions & meetings on Engineering related points.
• Travel to sites for site related understanding and resolution of Engineering issues.

Roles and Responsibilities on Prebid Engineering:

• Review of Technical Specifications from client, raising queries and deviations to client. Preparation of Prebid Bill of material for civil and structures.
• Review of civil costing and optimization of the costing for competitiveness of the project.
• Discussions with client for resolution of open technical points for contract closure Review of contract specification related to technical alignment

Good to Have:

• Experience in handling civil design activities in PV plants.
• Tool knowledge on STAAD, Civil3D, Autocad
• Strong communication skills
• Team handling experience upto 10 Engineers
