R&D Solution Architect

This is a R&D Solution Architect role, reporting to the R&D Technology Manager in Business Area – Industrial Automation and located in Bangalore. You will be leading and managing a multidisciplinary team in Bangalore, India. You will join a group of high-achieving engineers to lead and develop cutting edge industrial control applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and developing new products as well as maintenance of legacy products, you will be responsible for conceptualization, design, development, testing and deployment of web and windows applications.
• Understanding the market requirements, develop product requirements, and select appropriate technology and, support development and testing of the application.
• Providing broad technical software support and training, if required, to clients using ABB solution in the data center industry.
• Working with Project Managers to define scope, features and estimates for new projects.
• Planning and leading project activities with the development team.
• Working directly on development tasks, provide technical leadership; coordinate with other resources and create high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets.
• Developing the product design and architecture for the applications under development.

Qualification And Experience:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent from a reputed institution.
• Required 12-15 years of experience in software development and 5 to 8 years of experience with designing software architecture.
• Should have experience in architected and designed web-based software applications and desktop software applications.
• Should have expertise in Microsoft Technologies like C++, C#, .Net, ASP.NET MVC, .Net Core.
• Should have exposure to real-time Industrial Automation domain, particularly OPC-UA/DA and Modbus TCP.
• Should have expertise in the development of real-time, multi-threaded applications.
• God to have architecture related certification like TOGAF.
