Selected candidates should be willing to travel extensively and relocate to the place of posting.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MANAGER JOBS

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

BE / B. Tech (Electronics/Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Communication / Telecommunication) or equivalent from a recognised university.

POST QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE:

  • Should be in the rank of Wing Commander / Squadron Leader with 4 years seniority in the rank with minimum of 12 years of post qualification experience.
  • Candidates who are applying on re-employment basis should have been discharged on or after 06.2016.
  • Should preferably have experience in operation and maintenance of electronics and communication equipments like Radar System, Electronics support measuring system, Mission communication system Air and Ground data communication system, etc, Experience in development of technical manuals like maintenance manuals, technical manuals etc & Understanding of Preventive Maintenance schedule, Corrective Maintenance schedule, Out of Phase Maintenance Schedule, pre operative and post operative maintenance etc understanding on the various certifications required for the personnel maintaining Aircraft system and allied surveillance systems

  PAY  PACKAGE:

The selected candidates will be inducted in the pay scale of Rs. 70,000-3%- 2,00,000/-. In addition other allowances like Dearness Allowances, HRA, 35% of basic pay as perks, PF, Gratuity, Pension, Group insurance, Performance related pay, medical reimbursement for self and dependent family members, etc., as per Company rules will be part of the pay package.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

a) Will report to an officer/scientist in the Grade of Group Director/Air commodore/Gp. Capt

b) Management of general discipline, attendance, qualification requirements for maintenance, etc. of the engineers and technical Officers.

c) Manage activities like completion of daily inspections, Preventive Maintenance and Corrective maintenance, OOPS etc. with support of Engineers and Technical

d) Develop various technical Manuals like maintenance manuals, technical manuals, Fault compendium, IPC, etc with support of system level experts and publication officers

e) Manage procurement activities with support of Engineers and Technical Officers

f) Manage operations of Airborne surveillance equipment during various exercise planned by Tri services while planning for posting of Engineers and technical officers to planned

g) Provide necessary support for the Manager contract posted at CABS in completion of technical Manuals, fault compendium, etc

c) Post qualification work experience certificate from previous / current employer if employed after retirement form Indian Air Force.

d) Discharge certificate from Indian Air Force. The date of enrolment, date of discharge and rank at the time of leaving the defence force should be clearly mentioned in the discharge certificate.

e) Candidates who are not yet discharged from the Indian Air Force are required to submit proof in respect of their Rank, Date of Joining and probable date of discharge.

f) OBC certificate (if applicable) issued on or after 01.07.2020.

g) Candidates presently working in Govt/PSU/Quasi-Government organisations are required to produce a No Objection Certificate from the current employer specifying the probable date of discharge.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

a) Only Indian nationals need to apply. Mere fulfilling the minimum requirement of qualification and experience will not vest any right on the candidates to be called for the interview.

b) The Cut-off date for deciding the maximum permissible age and  experience (Post Qualification Experience) shall be 30.06.2021.In order to compute post qualification work experience, the period of work experience starting from the month immediately succeeding the month of final examination in which candidate acquire the essential educational qualification shall be considered.

c) In the event any applicant has litigated with his/her employer in the past, the same should be clearly mentioned in brief.

d Applications that are incomplete, not in the prescribed format, without the required enclosures, will be summarily rejected without assigning any reasons and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

e) Selections will be based on the reservation pattern as per the Government guidelines.

f) Request for change of category once declared, will not be entertained.

g) Candidates are required to possess a valid e-mail id, which is to be entered in the application form. Information pertaining to the interview will be sent to the e-mail id furnished by the candidate. BEL will not be responsible for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the candidates.

h) Decision of BEL in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidate, the stages at which such scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, qualification and other eligibility norms will be final and binding on the candidate.

i) BEL reserves the right to debar/ disqualify any candidates at any stage of the selection proceedings, for any reason whatsoever.
