Job Vacancy for Maintenance Manager at ABB in Maharashtra

This is a Maintenance Manager role, reporting to the Manufacturing Unit Manager in Business Area Electrification (EL) located in Nashik and will be responsible for leading the factory maintenance team in the planning and implementation of initiatives for improving the reliability, effectiveness, efficiency of equipment, technical infrastructure, production lines and facilities. You will be also responsible for developing and implementing equipment life cycle management procedures for optimizing costs and profitability.

Qualifications:

Bachelors/Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical /Electronic/Chemical Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 10 to 15 years experience in maintenance function from vacuum technology.
Should have hands on experience on Vacuum Furnace.
Expertise in analyzing plant operation, identifying loopholes.
Excellent knowledge in process improvement/ kaizen, 6S, TPM.
Good in statistical analysis and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation in vacuum technology.
Carrying out inspections of the facilities for identifying and resolving issues.
Responsible for efficient planning & implementing preventive & breakdown maintenance schedules for improving overall reliability and safety of plant equipment & machinery.
Planning, supervising all repair and installation activities, monitoring expenses, controlling the budget for maintenance.
Managing contractors and service providers to complete scheduled activities.
Keeping maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
Responsible for maintenance spares & inventory management.
Providing time-based schedules and resource allocations for complex plans or implementations.
Forming and directing both small and large teams that work towards a defined objective, scope & deliverables.
Performing risk analysis of various project options and outcomes.
Identifying basic business problems requiring analysis and determining if technology or process-based solution best.
Conducting small scale/medium scale tests to determine.
Overseeing all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities.
Ensuring health and safety policies are complied.
