Responsibilities:
- Financial accounting, consolidation, and reporting as per India GAAP and US GAAP
- Manage the development, implementation and maintenance of accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc
- Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.
- Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives of financial analysts.
- Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and revenue
- Participate in annual audits and special projects
- Compliance with transfer pricing guidelines and reporting
- Budget
- Coordinates, administers, and controls financial operations
- Reviews, analyzes, and interprets financial and budgetary reports
- Liaise with other department heads of the organization for operational support
- Manage internal and statutory auditors
- Regulatory filings and compliances viz. GST, RBI, ROC,
- Ensure compliance with the law, Corporate IT Returns, Statutory Compliances
- Manage vendor relationships
- Prepare current and forecasting reports (Manages, prepares, administers, and directs the control of the budget)
- Ensure internal control systems for various functions like Procurement, Inventory, payroll, cash and bank.
- Oversee the company’s finance IT system controls and configurations (Oversees the development of financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting requirements. (Oracle/ADP etc)
- Implement and enhance risk management programs of the company policies
- Implement and update Finance related policies (such as Cash management policies, Vendor payment policies)
- Manage team of finance managers and financial personnel.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Manage the activities of the payroll function. Develops policies and procedures for payroll process
- Compliance on all government reporting requirements for payroll taxes, withholding and employer contributions.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as finance head or relevant role managing a finance team
- In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. Oracle, SAP)
- Prior experience of working with multinational corporations
- Ability to strategize and solve problems
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Chartered Accountant with at least 15 years of experience
- Prior experience of working in India office of US corporation
- Knowledge of USGAAP reporting
- Prior experience in energy or manufacturing sector companies
