Job Description

Purpose and Scope  :
Your purpose is to create favourable mindsets in our target audience towards the SembWaste brand, using the media and other outreach platforms, to complement our overall business development, sales and marketing efforts.

As the Communications Manager, you will start-up and manage the SembWaste News Hub. Your key role is to work with internal stakeholders to develop and implement targeted content, ensuring messaging and materials are aligned and standardised across all outreach channels.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :
Working closely with the Sembcorp Group Communications lead in the Singapore market, you will focus on these key tasks:
1. Identity, track and execute internal and external media opportunities through evolving SembWaste projects
2. Build and manage SembWaste’s social media profile and presence
3. Develop content for disseminaton via press releases, social media, websites and other distribution channels
4. Serve as SembWaste’s media liaison
5. Work with Marketing to monitor online and offline campaigns and report on results

You may also be assigned other communications-related projects to support SembWaste’s business.

Qualifications & Experience: 
• Minimum 5 years work experience in a similar role
• Ability to originate appropriate content for dissemination via press releases, social media, websites and other distribution channels
• Good writing and editing skills
• Diploma or degree in communications

• Good Interpersonal skills
