Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition, you will:

  • Partner with Project Leaders and Functional Managers to ensure AT&S programs deliver established project outcomes and KPI’s on schedule and on budget, meeting all quality and process requirements.
  • Implement, manage and communicate changes to ensure goals & objectives are met throughout program lifecycles.
  • Responsible for the schedule, budget, and priority discussions for a portfolio AT&S programs.  Participate in resource planning.
  • Coordinate interdependencies of programs within the portfolio.
  • Drive clarity of program scope, outcomes and deliverables aligning to strategic technology and product objectives.
  • Demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals / programs / processes for an area or business segment
  • Demonstrate effective risk mitigation and problem-solving.
  • Communicate regularly and transparently with Project Leaders, Functional Managers and Business Leaders concerning project issues and decisions.
  • Work with planner/schedulers to create and update project schedules in P6 Primavera.
  • Lead and oversee design trade-offs and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Participate in planning, scheduling, and preparing content for technical and program reviews (milestone or gate).  Participate in the reviews, ensure proper review documentation and follow all tasks through to timely completion.
  • Assure proper documentation of technical, financial and quality data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.  Accountable for process compliance.
  • Drive simplification and standardization of work and best practices into engineering analyses, program execution and validation.
  • Work with Segment Engineering and Product Line teams to ensure program alignment to strategic technology and product goals.
  • Work closely with New Product Introduction teams to promote and enable technology adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of in Program Management / Project Management
