With key indices like the Nifty, or more relevant here, the Nifty mid-cap and small-cap indices also struggling to stay green, our green pack was resilient, especially the manufacturing and EPC firms. KPI Green signaled a return to winning ways with another day of solid gains, even as Premier Energies also perked up on expectations of strong results.
Acme Solar had a blockbuster day, jumping 10%, easily overshadowing NTPC Green and Adani Green. Tata Power missed out on the pyrotechnics, thanks to the overhang of the legal trouble that has been discussed earlier. It would certainly have been the share to watch otherwise.
Even the two wind energy firms, Inox Wind and Suzlon, were back in the green and looking good for more, as multiple analysts' reports plugged their prospects. With the week set to end tomorrow, it should be interesting to see if some of these gains can be protected, or even built upon, as these, followed by news on the trade deal, could provide fresh momentum for many of these stocks.
