Uttar Pradesh-based solar company GP Eco Solutions has received an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) order in Punjab, the company said in a regulatory filing.
As per the recent order, the company will undertake the development of a 24 MWac / 31.67 MWdc ground-mounted, grid-connected solar plant. The company said, “The ₹121.92 crore project in Punjab will be executed under the Open Access Captive Metering Arrangement and is scheduled to be fully commissioned on or before March 31, 2026.”
Under the terms of the contract, GP Eco Solutions India Limited will be responsible for providing comprehensive EPC services, including engineering, design, procurement, supply, installation, erection, testing, commissioning, and final handover of the project. The project is also liable for a penalty in case of delay in completion.
GP Eco Solutions Expansion Plans
GP Eco Solutions India shared details of projects undertaken during the second half and full financial year FY25 in an investor call.
Deepak Pandey, Promoter and Managing Director of the company, outlined upcoming developments, saying, “Our company has also secured an EPC turnkey contract for 128 MWp, amounting to over ₹300 crore. This project is expected to be commissioned within 18 to 24 months. With growing demand, we are also setting up a 1.2 GW solar module plant and a 2.5 GW automatic BESS line by the end of this year.”
When asked about the 1.2 GW solar module line, Pandey said, “This will be commissioned within this financial year, in H2 FY26.”
On the company's expansion plans, Pandey added, “We are scaling up our existing line to a 2.5 GW automatic BESS line in Noida to meet rising demand and projects we are targeting. This will also be completed by the end of this year.”
