Industry executives said recent policy measures, including a reduction in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on wind energy equipment from 12% to 5%, are expected to drive investment and lower project costs. “The new GST structure will encourage affordability and innovation, supporting India’s energy security goals,” said IWTMA CEO Aditya Pyasi at a press briefing in New Delhi.
