Websol Energy Bags 85.5 MW Solar Module Orders Worth ₹172 Cr from Three Companies

These orders, valued at Rs. 172 crores, are currently in production and are scheduled for delivery by May’26. The orders are from the following clients: Bekem Infra Projects, Sri Avantika Contractors, and Kosol Energie.

Kolkata-based Websol Energy System Limited has secured three solar module purchase orders, for 85.5 MW from three clients. In a press release, Websol Energy said it secured orders valued at Rs. 172 crores that are currently in production and are scheduled for delivery by May’26. It won these orders from clients such as Bekem Infra Projects, Sri Avantika Contractors, and Kosol Energie.

Websol’s integrated production model, manufacturing both cells and modules in-house, enhances supply chain control and flexibility to address market dynamics. It supplies solar cells primarily within India, supporting module manufacturers to comply with Domestic Content Requirement norms, while its modules are marketed both in India and internationally.

Websol Energy Operates 1.2 GW Solar Cell & 550 MW Module

The ALMM-II enlisted Websol Energy with a 602 MW solar manufacturing capacity located across approximately seven acres within the Falta Special Economic Zone in West Bengal. It currently operates with a solar cell capacity of 1,200 MW and module capacity of 550 MW. Websol’s integrated production model, manufacturing both cells and modules in-house, enhances supply chain control and flexibility to address market dynamics.

In addition, Websol to clarify that the recently imposed US tariffs on solar imports will have no impact on Websol’s operations, as the company does not currently have exports to the United States.
