WAPCOS Issues Tender For 650 kW Solar Plant

The last date of bid submission is March 5, 2019.

WAPCOS Limited, on behalf of Chairman, Cochin Special Economic Zone Authority (CSEZA), has issued a Notice Inviting Tenders (NIT) for setting up a 650 kW grid type solar power plant at CSEZ, Kakkanad in Kerala.

CSEZA, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has appointed WAPCOS Limited, as ‘Owner’s Engineer’.

The last date of bid submission is March 5, 2019, and the online opening of technical bids will be on the same date. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for February 16, 2019.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 3,83,95,000 and all bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 7,67,900 along with their bids.

To be eligible, the contractor should also have satisfactorily completed one similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work having a capacity of grid type solar plant not less than 500 kW during the last five years ending the previous day of the last date of submission of tender.

Or, two similar completed works of order value each not less than 60% of the estimated cost of work having a capacity of grid type solar plant not less than 500 KWp.
