Solar PV module manufacturers Waaree Energies Limited announced that it has agreed with Mahindra Susten a renewable independent power producer player for the provision of 280 MW of solar modules. According to the press release, Waaree Energies Limited will supply 280 MW of AHNAY Series, Bi-55 545Wp modules to Mahindra Susten. Module delivery is expected during the third quarter of fiscal 2025.

The selected modules by Mahindra Susten are bifacial Glass-to-Glass with a 30-year output performance warranty. Waaree Energies Limited’s bifacial Glass-to-Glass modules incorporate improved efficiency and durability, stated the media statement by the company.

Mahindra Susten has so far developed over 1.5 GWp of renewable assets as an IPP (Independent Power Producer, and executed over 4.2 GWp of renewable projects as an EPC in India and across the globe.

Recently, Waaree Energies Limited announced that it obtained certification for Topcon Modules from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The certification is meant specifically for glass to backsheet, with a capacity of up to 625Wp. The certification falls under the category of “Crystalline Silicon Terrestrial Photovoltaic (PV) Modules (Si wafer-based).
