Vikran Engineering Secures ₹2,035 Cr EPC Order for 600 MW Solar Project in Maharashtra

Mumbai-based Vikran Engineering Limited (VEL), a multi-sector EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company, has received a ₹2,035.26 crore work order from Onix Renewables Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV). In a press release, Vikran stated that it will develop 600 MW of AC solar power projects across multiple locations in the state of Maharashtra.

Vikran Engineering accepted the work order on December 23, 2025, to execute the project on a turnkey EPC basis. The company will cover end-to-end activities, including design, engineering, procurement, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning. The scope of work also includes the supply of key components such as solar PV modules and inverters. The project is expected to be completed within a 12-month timeline.

Previously, Onix Solar had secured a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Vikran Engineering to supply Non-DCR TOPCon 620 Wp solar modules. Under the earlier agreement, Onix Solar secured an order worth ₹148.80 crore, excluding GST, from Vikran. Under the LoI, the company will undertake the design, manufacture, factory acceptance testing, and supply of 193,550 Non-DCR TOPCon 620 Wp solar modules for the Vikran project.
