UP: Dharan Infra EPC’s Subsidiary Gets Rs. 262 Cr Solar Work Orders for Agri-Feeder Projects

The contracts were awarded for the development of a grid-connected solar power plant for the solarization of segregated agriculture feeders at distribution substations in different districts of UP. Execution timelines are scheduled up to April 30, 2026.

UP: Dharan Infra EPC’s Subsidiary Gets Rs. 262 Cr Solar Work Orders for Agri-Feeder Projects

Maharashtra-based Dharan Infra EPC Limited (formerly KBC Global Limited), through its subsidiary Dharan Infra Solar, received work contracts worth approximately Rs. 262.10 crore from a leading renewable energy company in India engaged in solar power development. The project win adds to the series of solar linked projects being added across Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh in recent months, a clear sign of the focus in these two states to align with objectives laid out under central schemes like PM KUSUM and PM Suryaghar. Sharing the project details, Dharan stated, “The contracts awarded relate to the development of a grid-connected solar power plant for the solarization of segregated agriculture feeders at distribution substations in different districts of Uttar Pradesh with the specified capacity. Execution timelines are scheduled up to April 30, 2026. For reasons of commercial confidentiality and to avoid disclosure of detailed contractual specifications that may be competitively sensitive, only summary information is being disclosed in compliance with regulatory requirements.”

About The Project

While sharing these details in a regulatory filing, the company noted, “While execution responsibilities are contractually assigned to the subsidiary, the revenues and liabilities arising therefrom will be duly consolidated in the financial statements of Dharan Infra EPC Limited, in accordance with Ind-AS and applicable accounting standards.”

Earlier in June 2025, Dharan Infra EPC Limited’s Board of Directors incorporated a subsidiary, Dharan Infra Solar Pvt. Ltd.  The company explained in a regulatory filing, “The subsidiary was incorporated to engage in all aspects of the business, including the manufacturing, design, development, and improvement of renewable energy modules, cells, and accessories. This includes conducting research, trading, buying, selling, wholesaling, retailing, distributing, importing, exporting, assembling, fabricating, repairing, maintaining, altering, and operating solar power projects and hybrid systems that combine solar photovoltaic technology with other forms of renewable energy.”
