Truzon Solar Ropes In Sachin Tendulkar To Boost Solar Uptake

Suntek Energy Systems Pvt Ltd, which operates under the Truzon Solar brand, said on Tuesday it has secured an investment and entered into a long-term partnership with former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

The company said the partnership would support its expansion plans and strengthen its ambition to become one of India’s top three solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies by 2030.

Truzon Solar said the investment would be used to scale execution capabilities, deepen operational infrastructure and strengthen delivery across the solar value chain. The company currently has operations in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka, and plans to expand into markets such as Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Kerala.

More Than An Investment 

“This partnership is more than an investment. It is a validation of our values, governance and long-term vision,” said Charugundla Bhavani Suresh, founder and managing director of Truzon Solar. He added that the association would support the company’s efforts to build a scalable and nationally integrated solar business.

Truzon Solar operates across residential, commercial and industrial, and large-scale infrastructure segments, offering end-to-end solar solutions. Its portfolio includes utility-scale EPC projects, rooftop solar installations, PM-KUSUM agricultural solar programmes, industrial captive solar generation projects and operations and maintenance services.

The company said the partnership is expected to enhance stakeholder confidence, support strategic collaborations and strengthen its position in India’s expanding renewable energy market, as the country pushes to accelerate the adoption of clean energy.
