TIFR Issues Tender For 18 kW Solar Plant

TIFR 18 kW Solar Plant

The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) has issued a tender for the implementation of 18 kW grid-connected rooftop solar power plant at the TIFR campus in Colaba, Mumbai.

The brief scope of work for selected bidders will cover design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing& commissioning of 18 kW grid-connected rooftop solar power plant and terminations and laying off all cables as per enclosed schedule of quantities, drawing and construction details/notes mentioned in the drawing.

The last date of bid submission is February 20, 2019, and the online opening of technical bids will be on February 21, 2019.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 18 lakh and all bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 36 thousand along with their bids. The time provided for completion of the work is 6 months from the date of issue of the letter of award.

To be eligible, the bidder must qualify the following criteria of satisfactory execution of works in the last 5 years ending on the last day of the month previous to the one in which tenders are invited: three similar works each of value not less than Rs 7,20,000, or two similar works each of value not less than Rs 9,00,000, or one similar work of value not less than Rs 14,40,000.

Additionally, the agency should have their office/technical support team in Mumbai area to provide after-sales support.
