Tender For 9348 Agricultural Pumps Under KUSUM Yojana in Kerala

The Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) has issued a tender for 9348 Agricultural Pumps solarization (grid-connected) ranging from 2 kW to 150 kW under KUSUM Yojna Component C in the state of Kerala. 

The last date and time of submission of the tender is September 20, 2022, and the bid will be opened on September 22.

Thrissur, Kasargod, Malappuram, Palakkad, and Ernakulam districts are home to more than 80% of the sites. Within two months of the date of the supply order, the supply, installation, and commissioning of the assigned work must be finished. 

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the supply, installation, and commissioning of SPV ground-mounted / rooftop power plants with grid connectivity for solarising the following capacity of agricultural pumps with power plants of capacity under 2 kW to 150 kW. The proposed location for the installation of the SPV modules can be on the rooftop of existing buildings /ground mounted among the 14 districts in the state of Kerala.

The estimated cost of the tender is Rs. 240 crores. Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 5 lakhs as an earnest money deposit. The winning bidder will also be required to provide a security deposit equal to 3% of the contract’s value. 

Eligibility Criteria for Bidders

Bidders must have completed the supply, installation, and maintenance of 3 MW or greater grid-connected or off-grid solar systems (solar pumps, rooftop systems, and ground-mounted systems) during the previous five fiscal years. Any government agency, the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), or public sector enterprises should have had the works completed.

To acquire this tender, the bidder must have a positive net worth in the last three financial years on the date of submission of the bid. The minimum average annual turnover should not be less than Rs. 10 crores for group1 & Rs. 2 crores for group2.

Earlier, The Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) had issued a tender for the rate contract for the solarization of grid-connected agricultural pumps with a cumulative capacity of 300 HP under the PM-KUSUM scheme in the state of Kerala.
