Tata Power and Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) have started installing EV Charging points in and around the city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.

“This strategic partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles and promote sustainable transportation solutions,” said Tata Power in a media release.

Four electric vehicles were also flagged off destined for major neighbouring cities. These points are situated along crucial routes such as Ayodhya to Lucknow via NH27, Ayodhya to Raebarelli via NH330, Ayodhya to Prayagraj via NH330, and Ayodhya to Gorakhpur via NH27. This will also encourage pilgrims and tourists visiting the holy city to adopt e-mobility and sustainable transport during their travels

Tata Power EZ Charge network includes 4137 home chargers, 230 public charging points, and 39 captive chargers.

Mr. Deepesh Nanda, CEO and Managing Director, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, while expressing profound pride, stated, “Today’s milestone in completing the electric vehicle charging points project with Ayodhya Development Authority signifies our commitment to a greener future.
