Suzlon to Power Zelestra’s First FDRE Project With 381 MW Order Across Three States

Suzlon's 381 MW project will be spread across Maharashtra (180 MW), Madhya Pradesh (180 MW), and Tamil Nadu (21 MW). It will be a part of SJVN’s FDRE bid in Maharashtra and MP, while the Tamil Nadu portion will serve C&I power consumers.

Suzlon To Power Zelestra’s First FDRE Project With 381 MW Order Across Three States

Wind energy company Suzlon Group has secured a 381 MW order from Zelestra India and its affiliates, it said in a release. The company said this also marks one of Zelestra’s first-ever FDRE projects.

The company said that the 381 MW project, which involves 127 of Suzlon’s S144 turbines, will be spread across Maharashtra (180 MW), Madhya Pradesh (180 MW), and Tamil Nadu (21 MW). It describes this project to be a part of SJVN’s FDRE bid in Maharashtra and MP, while the Tamil Nadu portion will serve Commercial & Industrial (C&I) power consumers.

With the new project, the company aims to help corporate and utility clients meet their decarbonisation targets with scale, reliability, and speed. Currently, Suzlon Group has approximately 21.1 GW of wind energy capacity installed across 17 countries.
