Suzlon Secures 72.45 MW Order For 3 MW Series From Juniper Green Energy

Renewable energy solutions provider Suzlon Group today announced a new order that it has secured for the development of a 72.45 MW wind power project from Juniper Green Energy Private Limited. Suzlon will install 23 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3.15 MW each at the client’s site in Dwarka district in Gujarat.

According to a media statement from Suzlon Group, this order is for the company’s larger rated 3.15 MW, S144-140m turbines from the 3 MW product series. As part of the agreement, Suzlon will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply) and execute the project including, erection and commissioning Suzlon will also undertake comprehensive operations and maintenance services post-commissioning, read the press release.

Suzlon turbines come with Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) technology that integrates wind turbines into utility networks to meet grid requirements.

Similarly, Suzlon Group won the order for the development of a 30 MW wind power project for EDF Renewables last month. It will install 10 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3 MW each.

In January this year, Suzlon reported that its net Profit After Tax (PAT) reached Rs 203 crore in Q3FY24 in its filing before the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
