Supertech EV Ltd, one of India’s electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers, has announced a series of product launches and capacity expansions as part of its growth strategy in the country’s EV market.

Launch of MAXX Passenger and Cargo Autos

Supertech EV has entered the fast-growing L5 electric auto segment with the launch of its MAXX range, available in both passenger and cargo variants. The MAXX autos feature a range of 120–140 km per charge, a top speed of up to 45 kmph, and fast-charging capability within 4–5 hours.

New High-Speed Electric Scooters

Under its Zapster brand, Supertech EV also launched a new high-speed electric scooter range — Zapster and Zapster Pro — with a top speed of 65 kmph and a range of up to 140 km per charge.

Equipped with a removable lithium-ion battery, the scooters can be charged using standard power sockets at home or work, eliminating the need for additional chargers. The scooters will be available in five colours and are aimed at young and professional riders seeking affordable, sustainable mobility options.

New 2-Wheeler Plant at Bahadurgarh

To meet growing demand, the company inaugurated a new two-wheeler manufacturing plant in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, with an annual capacity of 36,500 units.

Supertech said the facility will support its expansion in western and southern India, where it is strengthening its distribution network in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka.

Technology Upgrades Across Portfolio

The company has also upgraded its two- and three-wheeler range with new technology features, including an independent differential system in its Pilot series of e-rickshaws to improve ride comfort and suspension performance.

Supertech said it continues to invest in research and development to enhance performance, durability and cost efficiency across its product range.
