Sungrow Power to Supply Inverters to 100 MWp Vietnam Solar Project

The project, for which Sungrow Power will supply its inverters, is settled on brownfield sites which offer excellent natural conditions for generating power from sun and expects to generate 150 GWh of clean energy annually after the project’s completion.

China based inverter solution supplier Sungrow Power Supply Company has inked a pact with Dai Hai Power to supply central inverters for 100 MWp project located near the Northwest of Buon Me Thuot City, Vietnam.

The project, for which Sungrow Power will supply its inverters, is settled on brownfield sites which offer excellent natural conditions for generating power from sun and expects to generate 150 GWh of clean energy annually after the project’s completion.

Further, combining a nearby hydro power plant, Dai Hai Power can acquire clean power at all times.

Besides, the project is also recognized as promoting regional economic growth and improving the social life for the local communities at large.

The 100MWp project utilizes 31 units 1500Vdc 2.5 MW central inverters. This turnkey solution with transformer and RMU, is optimized for easy installation and commissioning, shortens the construction period, and enables overall cost-savings.

Commenting on the deal, Dai Hai Power, General Director, Le Quang Minh said, “Dai Hai Power is excited to expand its partnership with Sungrow.”

Moreover, Vietnam is considered as a booming solar market, and expects future growth potential.
