Sungrow Inks Supply Pact with Smart Power for Energy Storage Proj in Germany

One of the global leading inverter supplier for renewable, Sungrow has inked a supply pact with Smart Power for supply of energy storage systems for a 30MW (i.e. 10MWx3) capacity project in Germany.

Germany-based general contractor and developer company, Smart Power, is acting as a consortium involved in the project.

The system consists of an advanced Power Control System (PCS) and a robust lithium battery features a compact and resilient design ensuring the stability of the grid while at the same time enhancing the overall project benefits through frequency regulation and energy shifting.

Commenting on the development, Smart Power, CTO, Ulrich Bürger said, “We started the partnership with Sungrow two years ago and were convinced by its professionalism and flexibility in face of diverse requirements. We value Sungrow’s proven 22-year track record in the energy storage industry and look forward to collaborating on more ventures in the near future.”
