BESS Projects In Europe

Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Switzerland, Delta Capacity develops, acquires, owns, and operates utility-scale battery storage projects across Europe. The company currently has nearly 800 MWh of projects under construction and aims to build and operate more than 6 GWh of storage assets by 2030. Among its key projects is a large battery storage development in Ånge, Sweden, considered one of the largest projects currently under development in the Nordics.

Sungrow will supply its liquid-cooled PowerTitan 2.0 system, designed to reduce both capital and operational expenditure through its integrated AC-DC block architecture. The system features pre-assembled battery modules and power conversion systems, enabling faster installation and improved operational efficiency. The technology also allows projects to participate in grid balancing, ancillary services, and energy trading markets.

Sungrow has deployed several large-scale storage projects in Europe, including an 800 MWh BESS project in Belgium and the 330 MWh Bramley energy storage project in the United Kingdom.

Globally, Sungrow has installed over 1,000 GW of power electronic converters, with its solutions deployed across renewable energy projects worldwide.
