Solex Energy Unveils Two Solar Modules Tailored for Rajasthan Photograph: (Company)
Indian solar manufacturer Solex Energy Ltd has launched two new high-efficiency solar modules designed to withstand Rajasthan’s extreme climate, marking a strategic expansion in the high-irradiance state.
The company introduced the “Tapi R” and the “Tapi Series” modules during an event attended by key industry partners, financial institutions and company executives, including Chairman and Managing Director Chetan Shah, Whole-time Director Piyush Chandak and Director Vipul Shah.
The company said that the Tapi R module is the first in India to use rectangular cell architecture, incorporating N-Type TOPCon technology. With a power output range of 595–625 W, 132 half-cut rectangular cells, and a module efficiency of 23.14%, it is designed for both rooftop and large-scale utility applications. It is backed by a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance guarantee.
The second offering, the Tapi Series, features a dual-glass N-Type module delivering 570–595 W with 144 half-cut cells and a module efficiency of 23.03%. The dual-glass design enhances mechanical strength and offers better resistance to potential-induced degradation (PID), dust, heat and UV radiation—key concerns in Rajasthan’s harsh environment.
“Our customer-centric approach drives innovation at Solex,” said Shah. “These products aren’t just about performance—they’re about resilience and reliability under tough, real-world conditions. Whether for rooftop, utility-scale or captive use, our modules are built to last.”
Shah added that Solex’s strength lies in its manufacturing excellence and cost-competitive offerings. “We are proud to support EPCs, developers and end users in making informed choices that deliver value over the long term.”
As part of its regional growth strategy, Solex is expanding its local partner network and technical team in Rajasthan to enhance service delivery, customer engagement and support for solar adoption across the state.
