Solex Energy Joins NSE Main Board, Powers Ahead with 2.5 GW Expansion
Surat-based Solex Energy migrated the company from the NSE EMERGE platform to the NSE Main Board. Announcing this migration, in a press release, the company said that
The latest announcement aligns with Solex Energy's goal to further strengthen its manufacturing leadership during the year. The company has already commenced commercial production at its new 800 MW Tadkeshwar facility, bringing total operational capacity to 1.5 GW. Additionally, Solex shared that a 2.5 GW expansion project is under testing and is expected to achieve full-scale production by Diwali 2025, while another 2.5 GW expansion planned for FY26 will take the company’s total capacity to 6.5 GW by 2027.
Solex said it is also among the first Indian PV module manufacturers to receive the prestigious MCS 005 BSI Kitemark certification, opening export opportunities across the U.S., U.K., Europe, and the Middle East.
Solex Targets 10 GW Module & Cell Capacity
With its Vision 2030, the company aims to achieve 10 GW of module capacity and 10 GW of cell manufacturing capacity, while also exploring wafer and ingot manufacturing to build a fully integrated solar value chain in India.
At the heart of Solex’s growth story is inclusivity and sustainability, the company said. More than 70% of its workforce comes from tribal and indigenous communities, underscoring its commitment to social empowerment alongside industrial growth, it added.
