Serentica Renewables, an Indian clean energy developer, has partnered with SANY Renewable to supply wind turbine generators (WTGs) for its upcoming 336 MW wind power project in Karnataka.
The project will feature SANY’s advanced 4 MW WTGs, with deliveries expected to begin in December 2025. The collaboration marks a key step in Serentica’s plan to boost its plan to provide round-the-clock renewable energy to industrial consumers across India.
“SANY’s turbines stood out for their efficiency, reliability and ability to perform consistently in diverse climatic conditions,” Serentica said in a statement, adding that the machines will be instrumental in powering energy-intensive industries with green electricity.
“This 336 MW wind project in Karnataka will play a pivotal role in reducing carbon emissions while supporting India’s industrial energy needs,” said Akshay Hiranandani, CEO of Serentica Renewables. “We are confident that our collaboration with SANY Renewable will drive the success of this project and strengthen India’s clean energy transition.”
Gaurav Amdekar, COO of SANY Wind Energy India, welcomed the partnership, calling it a milestone in SANY’s growing presence in India’s wind energy sector.
“Our 4 MW platform is engineered to deliver optimal performance and reliability,” he said. “This partnership with Serentica reflects a shared vision of accelerating India’s shift to a low-carbon future.”
SANY Renewable has secured over 3 GW in turbine orders in India and continues to expand its footprint with high-performance equipment already in successful operation across the country.
